About Goin' Coastal Custom
Goin' Coastal Custom started with a simple problem: I couldn't find a Starlink Mini mount that would actually hold up on the water. Every option I tried either wasn't built for marine conditions or didn't fit my boat's existing hardware. So I designed my own. That first adapter is still our best-selling product today — and it turned into something bigger than I expected. Other boaters had the exact same problem, and word spread. What started as a personal fix for my own boat became a full lineup of marine accessories, all built the same way: solve a real problem, test it in real conditions, then make it available to everyone dealing with the same headache.
Built for the Water, Not Just a Workbench
Every product we sell starts with an actual need — usually mine, sometimes a customer's. We don't design in theory. If it doesn't hold up offshore, in chop, in saltwater, and under real use, it doesn't get listed. That's why our Starlink mounts are tested in rough seas before they ever go up for sale, and why our Yamaha adapters are built from real OEM measurements instead of guesswork.
What separates our parts from generic 3D-printed accessories is the engineering behind them. I'm a degreed engineer by trade — precision tolerances, material selection, and structural integrity aren't afterthoughts here, they're the starting point. Combined with professional 3D scanning capability, we can reverse-engineer existing hardware, discontinued parts, and OEM components down to exact dimensions. If your boat needs a part that no longer exists or was never made to begin with, there's a good chance we can scan, design, and print it.
Made to Order, Built in the USA
Everything in our shop is 3D printed to order, right here in the USA. No mass-produced inventory sitting in a warehouse — when you order, we print it, inspect it, and ship it, usually within 1–3 business days. That means you're getting a fresh part built specifically for your order, not something that's been sitting on a shelf.
What We Make
Our lineup has grown around the same idea that started it all: precision-fit parts for boats that don't already exist anywhere else. Starlink Mini mounts for marine VHF antenna brackets. Yamaha outboard accessories built from exact OEM specs. Brand-specific parts like our Sea Hunt hitch cover. And practical tools like our plug wrench and storage combo — small problems solved the same careful way as the bigger ones.
Have a Part You Can't Find?
If you're dealing with a problem on your boat that nobody else seems to have a solution for, reach out. A lot of what we make started as a one-off custom request. There's a good chance we can design exactly what you need.
